Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?

I just bought a core one kit, and having run it for a week now including dealing with problems. I’d say that this feels like owning a very real tool. You can modify it to suit your needs, upgrade it, etc. you don’t need to source all parts and such from Prusa either. Sounds like the Bambu is more li

Is there any downside to getting the Core L over the Core+, apart from price? Is Core+ more modern? Will there come a Core+ L? INDX will appear later, should I wait for that and buy the complete package?

The core one L is a better machine in my opinion, it’s got a newer heatbed, a nicer build, better fans and vents etc. But these are marginal improvements. Both are great machines. Yes, the INDX will come to the core one L sometimes end of q4 or start of q1 next year. Bambu being best for its price d

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D?

I’ve been pushing the limits of the core one+ in terms of miniatures and getting fantastic results. Take a look at my profile for more examples, but here’s one I posted not too long ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/s/lpl4T6RzTK If you get the c1+, you can copy my profiles and get the same resul

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D?

The business ethics, generally open platform, and repairability will keep me in the Prusa ecosystem unless they pull some shenanigans (boy, that would be sad). I’ve had MK3’s through the Core One. I’ve always had other printers as well, and those Prusa were the only ones that just kept chugging alon

Thoughts on Prusa CORE+

I’ve never had a 3d printer before the core one, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I bought the core one kit a year ago. Had an absolute blast building it. It has performed flawlessly for me (yes they’re have been problems but they were my fault). When the plus version came out…I just printe

Used MK4S.

I have an MK4S, Core One and Core One L. I still use the MK4S all the time. It's print quality is on par with the Core Ones, if not better, honestly (less VFAs than a CoreXY) . It's slightly slower than a CoreXY but not by a lot, it's still plenty fast. You'll find that the MK4S has much better prin

Printer recommendations?

Just got my Core One L yesterday and I love it! Upgrading from a highly modded and tuned ender 3 that I ran for about 6 years so feels like going from a 2005 civic to a Ferrari. The backlog took about 6 weeks despite due 4-5 they estimated but glad I sprung for the L, it’s a gorgeous machine. A big

Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?

Can't speak for anyone else but myself. I look at the company ethos as a whole. I like Prusa more than Bambu because the latter is a marketing company disguised as a technology company. Every company has problems but it's how the company reacts to adversity that is the true litmus test. The CORE One

Recommendation for 3D printer from EU?

Prusa. I got Core One + and it's an amazing machine. Open source, easy to mod, many mods on Printables. Avoid Bambu, they restrict their system more and more, sue people who create a free software, force you to connect to Chinese servers and abandon new models quickly to make you buy a new printer a

A casual 3d printer here, considering a switch to the Core1 from the X1C

https://www.prusa3d.com/en/product/indx-conversion-kit-8-toolhead It's an upgrade to a tool head that can swap between nozzles and uses inductive heating. It's a tool changing without also changing the extruder. It's faster than an AMS solution because you don't need the filament swaps when you swap
