Prusa vs Bambu feels less like ā€œbetter vs worseā€ and more like different priorities

Hi, so although Josef signs my paychecks, I did purchase a Bambu A1, and X1C before I replaced them with Prusa, and then subsequently applied to work for big orange a little over a year later. My biggest problem with the Bambu system, is that the right way to use a Bambu is the way that Bambu decide

Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?

This is a Prusa group so you are likely to get some biased responses. For what it's worth, I choose to go Prusa over Bambu because I like how Prusa has remained open source. Bambu has recently made moves to close in their ecosystem which was a concerning direction. One of my first 3D printers was ve

Disappointing Experience - Buddy3d Camera & Core One Damage

Making me glad I went directly to Prusa for my Core One. Thankfully, no issues with my camera. I’m surprised that they’re not standing behind a Printed Solid purchase, given the tight relationship. I mean, PS is even doing assembly work. Weird.

CORE One + Hatch

It’s always great to see a new Core One mod pop up! It always makes me happy I chose Prusa over any other printer brand. Very cool idea, thank you for sharing!

What made you choose a prusa over a bambu or a voron?

I did it for the support. I have 2 friends that have bambu X1c's. Both of them had issues that caused the printer to stop working with out replacement parts. A cable on one and the other never got a fix. Both friends had to email bambu. Then wait a week for a response. then my fiends would do whatev

Used Prusa Core ONE

It’s up to you of course, I bought a Bambu p1s and now I’m selling it because i have 2x core ones. They print high quality, they allow mods and changes, they can be upgraded later when the new model, and new things come out. No forced Chinese server connection, no ā€œthrow it in the binā€ when the new

Fixing my clothes dryer made me buy Prusa.

I also love my ... now 6 ... Prusa printers, had some problems with my Core One, they kept sending me parts untill it was fixed and perfect again. This is probably my favorite company ever!

What made you choose a prusa over a bambu or a voron?

I have had a Bambu X1C and a Bambu A1 Mini. Recently went with the Core One L over H2. I’ve rambled a lot here and maybe been too positive, but it’s just as much because I’m trying to get my thoughts down in paper, I think this is one of the bigger questions in 3d printing today - ol reliable vs sta

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D?

The business ethics, generally open platform, and repairability will keep me in the Prusa ecosystem unless they pull some shenanigans (boy, that would be sad). I’ve had MK3’s through the Core One. I’ve always had other printers as well, and those Prusa were the only ones that just kept chugging alon

Recommendation for 3D printer from EU?

I have a Prusa Core One and I’m quite happy with it. Also customer care is very good.
