Honest question: Who is the Prusa Core One L actually for in 2025/2026?
I want to touch one point about tuning. With Prusa, you don’t need to tune each machine individually - tuning is done in the slicer for specific filaments and it applies it to ALL Prusa printers. Prusa printers will give you the same print everytime, that’s why they’re best for farms. In my experien

Core One GT2 belt (Top) vs GT1.5 belt (Bottom). PLA VFA is very much GONE. So worth the effort.
VFAs are speed dependent.A simple print doesn't prove much because the VFAs might just have shifted to a different speed. There are test models that test a range of speeds. https://www.printables.com/model/1189256-vfa-test-prusa-core-one?lang=de

3D printers should keep using springs in the bedplate
The problem is that springs are a constant maintenance item. They lose tension over time and as temperatures change which causes inconsistent first layer performance. They're fiddly to adjust precisely and most people who aren't 3d printer enthusiasts but rather just want to make stuff aren't going

Will we ever get automatic spaghetti detection from the Nextruder?
If you got a camera there are solutions with a local vision model available. Not an official Prusa solution though. I am integrating one of the model with Prusa Connect for my personal use. It works in tandem with layer change synchronized timelapses. It still has some rough edges. The goal is to ad

Is there any downside to getting the Core L over the Core+, apart from price? Is Core+ more modern? Will there come a Core+ L? INDX will appear later, should I wait for that and buy the complete package?
The core one L is a better machine in my opinion, it’s got a newer heatbed, a nicer build, better fans and vents etc. But these are marginal improvements. Both are great machines. Yes, the INDX will come to the core one L sometimes end of q4 or start of q1 next year. Bambu being best for its price d

Are things getting better on Core One family?
I have the CORE One, the CORE One L, and the X1C. In terms of severity of VFAs, CORE One L has the least, followed by the CORE One, then the X1C dead last. Both Prusa machines are factory assembled, and I have also assembled more than 10 CORE Ones. IMO this VFA thing is overblown since the CORE One

Fixing my clothes dryer made me buy Prusa.
I also love my ... now 6 ... Prusa printers, had some problems with my Core One, they kept sending me parts untill it was fixed and perfect again. This is probably my favorite company ever!

Core One vs. Bambu?
Dude you bought a kit printer, and honestly it sounds like mechanically and technically that was a bit above your level, but it saved you $200 so you wanted to do it. You're comparing the out of the box ease of use to that of a bambu printer which only comes fully assembled and you're surprised the

Update: Let's talk about quality control for Prusa kits
I took 3 days and lots of breaks to assemble my core one upgrade kit. All my prusas have been kits and are all reliable. Too many times I see people with a lot of problems that assemble their kit in 8 hours.

What made you choose a prusa over a bambu or a voron?
I have had a Bambu X1C and a Bambu A1 Mini. Recently went with the Core One L over H2. I’ve rambled a lot here and maybe been too positive, but it’s just as much because I’m trying to get my thoughts down in paper, I think this is one of the bigger questions in 3d printing today - ol reliable vs sta
