Help learning to use e-m10 markiii

Hey, congrats on your camera! Menus - The Olympus menus are Byzantine and the source of much swearing over the years. They go back to 2003 and the release of their first Four Thirds camera, the E-1. (Their system before Micro Four Thirds.) But they are consistent. If you can get a book on the E-M10

What's Your Best Camera Recommendation? (Update!)

I would recommend a sony a6000 for around that budget. The camera alone should cost around $350 used. With the rest of the budget you could get a nice prime lens or even two if you're wise spending it. The 16-50mm kit lens cost less than $100 but i would really not recommend it and instead get a pri

Best compact for 600$

None of those cameras are worth the premium they're charging for now. There's a range of compact Olympus body you can get on MPB for "Like New" condition for under $400, like the E-M10 III or the E-PL7. You can pair either with the 14-42 PZ zoom lens. That'll be a way better value for money combo an

What setup for Vintage-Feel Fotos on a Budget?

You just need a more lightweight camera that'll produce good jpegs, and buy some Lightroom presets that you can apply to your photos after. https://www.mpb.com/en-eu/product/olympus-om-d-e-m10-mark-iii/sku-3280484 https://www.mpb.com/en-eu/product/olympus-m-zuiko-digital-ed-14-42mm-f-3-5-5-6-ez/sku-

Official Gear Purchasing and Troubleshooting Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! November 07, 2025

The kodaks have a small sensor but larger zoom range. An interchangeable lens camera will not match the range of focal lengths but might offer better images under more varied conditions. For that budget an older Mirrorless or DSLR will work. Not new but you take what you can find really. https://www

I want to get into M43 photography, looking to be a used camera, is the G9 the best for the price right now?

Lots of folks leaning you towards either the larger G9 or also the OM-D E-M1 Mark II (around £350 here also) but I'm leaning on you saying "teh reason was that it felt like too much, the camera was big, lens were big. I eventually stopped taking it with me." Although everyday lenses are very small a

I want to get into M43 photography, looking to be a used camera, is the G9 the best for the price right now?

Thanks, to be honest, I'm second thinking the G9, I'm moving more in favor of the M1 Mark II, but as you've brought up the OM-D E-M10 Mark III, I'll give it some thought. I think the phase detect AF will be tough to pass on though.

Em10 mk III or lumix gx7? Really stuck choosing between these.

My wife has the mark iii and is very happy with it. She's into macro photography and the IBIS of the mk iii is good. This site might be helpful: https://cameradecision.com/compare/Olympus-OM-D-E-M10-Mark-III-vs-Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-G7
