Ok why won't you buy pre 2020 gear? I for one would like to know If you are looking for post 2020 new gear, then Olympus OM-5 mk 1 or 2 is the way to go as another commenter said. It doesn't get any smaller than that.

Nobody looking at your photos will know what camera or sensor size you used. If you like an M43 camera then buy it. I have been using the system for years now and if I was starting again maybe I would try something different, but right now I am happy out. I do hope OM systems release a really decent

There are plenty of good choices at that price point. If body size/style is not a factor, I would look for an Olympus E-M1 mk ii, which is weather proof, offers a 20mp sensor and better autofocus.
