Webcam questions ( Twitch DJ, Not gamer ) - Elgato Facecam Mk2 or OBSBot Meet2
ive watched a bunch of videos and i was like 99% i wanted the OBSBot meet 2 but i wasnt sure bc gpt and most forums kept saying "elgato mk2" was the best for that price range BUT in most reviews on yt elgato alwasys loses badly lol. anyways i guess i just needed this extra push.

Is it worth buying an external webcam if you already have a decent laptop?
Even expensive laptops can have lower-resolution (i.e., 720p) webcams with poor optics, usually sacrificed to keep the laptop thin and compact. There's a big difference with external cams from the size of the optics alone. I can't endorse any external models personally, but this recent webcam review

My Podcast Looks Like a Zoom Call—Should I Even Bother With Video?
most video issues are because lighting is bad. My current setup is 2 inexpensive neewer panel lights with printer paper diffusers, then some inexpensive RGB bulbs for background color. This setup will continue to help once you upgrade the video source. Once you have some more coin the obsbot meet 2

What are your Camera recommendations?
Are you planning on moving around a lot, or will you be sitting down all the time? The obsbot meet 2 is a great webcam. Though its 4k60.

What is your webcam?
OBSBOT Meet 2, it goes 4k 30 but I use 1080 60 for streaming to match gameplay frames
