This is a skill issue. The Pandas are explicitly only compatible with the V3. And it says so on the site. It's not NuPhy's fault you failed to read lol. The V3 switches seem to have been designed for the Kick75's (and at least the Chilkey ND75's) low-profile and full-height dual-compatibility featur

I'm starting to lose my mind a bit with the subject of so many variant versions of the same keyboards. I understand that in software features and durability there is a clear gap between the Air V2 and the V3, but.... wouldn't it make more sense to focus those divergences on new models and space out

I would not call any kind of low-profile option having a "robust" choice of switches. Maybe the NuPhy Kick75, but that's because you can use normal switches with it, so it's not really purely low-profile. The problem is every switch manufacturer has at least one low-profile "standard" that is mutual

The difference is that the Kick has enough space for a chunky knob, and the Air has the space for a knob 1/4 the size of a regular key. I get that NuPhy is doing its level best to innovate in weird directions, but honestly I would have bought the V3 just for the better typing experience. The Kick ha

Nuphy kick75 looks ok and the field 75 looks even better The kick is not exactly tkl and field has the knob on a location that is inconvenient during gaming, also is he switch. :(

Same here, unfortunately they tend to stick with cramped layouts on low-profile boards those days. Only worthy exemptions found are NuPhy Nos75 (overpriced) and Kick75 (not fully low-profile) - they both 75% though. Personally I'm considering making my own bespoke low-profile keeb.

The Kick75 is my least-preferred board from NuPhy, the Node75 is IMO much better, followed by the Air75/60. But indeed the wait time can be annoying. I have a few NuPhy boards on sale, shipping from the Netherlands. Halo75, Air75 V2, and an Air60 HE. Let me know if you're interested!

Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of the Kick75 for that specific reason. My favorite NuPhy boards are the new Node 75 and obviously the Air 75 (I have the Air 75 HE).

Thanks for your reply! Yes, unfortunately, you're hitting the vulnerable spot of the research I've been doing. The Lofree seems to be better, although I've heard about some flaws with Linux compatibility that I want to investigate further. Otherwise, a friend of mine has the Air and he likes it, but
