I found an espresso machine off side of the street, it’s been heaven ever since.

Seeking a hard-to-break espresso machine under $3000

Nuova Simonelli Oscar II. Around $1500 (make sure it includes the gold warranty that covers Commercial usage - many places like webstaurantstore include it) and it's built like a tank with not much that can go wrong with it. You'll still need to invest in a good espresso grinder which is another $80

Adding espresso to a bakery

We have a wholesale client that opened a coffee bar in their store and they figured it would be easier to train staff on a Super Automatic machine instead of a traditional espresso machine. That way staff turnover is less of an issue too. They went with an Eversys Cameo. They are happy with it and s

What in the damn heck?

A number of machines, including the Nuova Simonelli Oscar II, have a very protruding shower screen screw unless you switch it out for a recessed one. Leaves a dent in the puck no matter what you do.

Cheap Espresso Machine Recommendations

If you can get by with a single group machine, the Nuova Simonelli Oscar II is $1500 and has served us well for years.

Looking for an Espresso Kit with Grinder and Gadgets (Amazon UK etc)? [700€] budget

All the usual advice: kit is a bad idea get a good grinder, more important than machine at first, for example eureka mignon specialita around €400-500 at that price range you're most likely going to get a new single boiler machine or maybe you can find a good deal on a used heat exchanger which will

What are you paying for with a more expensive machine? [$2500]

Mainly you get consistenty, build quality and better steaming performance. Potentially you get flow/pressure control or profiling. Best price-to-performance dual boiler is probably Lelit Elizabeth, also heats up fairly quickly for Dual Boiler machine. GCP or Siliva are great if you are looking into

Be real with me. Opening an Espresso bar in a Barber Shop. [$1500-$2000]

To me, it seems like you'll be making relatively few drinks, and since you're trying to keep a budget, I think you could manage well by getting something that is robust enough for that small number of drinks and fast enough to keep up with a good workflow. If you are looking at the Diletta Mio (made

Budget beginner setup: girlfriend doesn’t want a Breville. Now what? [€1000,- ish max]

I would get a Nuova Simonelli Oscar II for €750, or a Lelit Elizabeth for €1000.

Budget Espresso Machine [$800 but preferably cheaper]

30-60 drink orders over the course of an 8 hour work day would be 7.5 drinks per hour. Now you will most likely have peak times where you might hit 20 drinks per hour. Not even considering duty cycles, you will probably want to stay away from single boiler machines and consider dual boiler and HX ma
