Adjustable Dumbbells - Yay or Nay?
Yay. I’ve had the 80lb Nuobells for around 4 years and I like them. Super quick adjustments. Can’t drop them though.

Adjustable dumbbell recommendations.
I have Nuobells. They are great, but there is a risk of breaking the internal mechanism if you drop them. I used to worry about this a lot, but I've had them for two years and have never had any issues. I would also consider Rep x Pepins and Snode with the magnetic weights to allow for 5lb adjustmen

What's the best adjustable dumbbells if you're finally upgrading your home gym?
I don't think there is a "best". Everything has compromises. - Rep Peppins are the fan-favorite and durable but they're expensive, semi-caged, and the weight change system is subjective. Ability to go to 125. - Nuobells are my personal choice but they're admittedly fragile, even the new, more durabl

Adjustable Dumbbells
Had Bowflex Selecttechs for ~10 years, rock solid for me except they're super bulky and are way behind the times. They were super innovative 20 years ago, now they're just old tech. I own Nuobells (not the new S ones). Excellent product, imo, so long as you don't drop them. Someone asked a couple of

Adjustable DBs
I've had the nuobells since they came out and I love them. Use them pretty often. You do have to baby them a bit when putting them back in the cradle (haha) and you can't drop them. As long as you're ok with that, they're amazing. I tried the repins at the PA showroom and the quality is great but I

Adjustable Dumbbells
I have the Nuobells and absolutely love them, but they're not the most durable. Mine have held up fine, but I never drop them, which could break the plastic components, and even though I'm careful, they're chipping a bit. Powerblocks are a lot more durable, but personally, I hate the shape of them a

Motv8 Omnibell
From the YouTube reviews I've seen on these they are A LOT cheaper build quality than nuobells and are actually already breaking/already showing signs of critical wear on people during their review time. I'd say pass on these and save up for nuobells if you like the twist design.

Adjustable Dumbbells - Yay or Nay?
I've got a set of Nuobells I picked up in back in 2021 for ~$900, and they're still going strong. While it's true the Rep x Peppin ones look amazing, I'm not ready to re-invest just yet. There's no way I could fit a full set of fixed dumbbells in the garage given all the other projects happening in

Just got this chrome plated 50kg dumbbells from China
Back when Nuobells were all the rage, I had a set of the Chrome plated dbs that went to 100lbs by 10s and there was no 90lb setting. The Chrome was cool and they lasted me a few years before I sold them. I love the Repins but i do miss how fast these change weight.
