Adjustable DBs
I've had the nuobells since they came out and I love them. Use them pretty often. You do have to baby them a bit when putting them back in the cradle (haha) and you can't drop them. As long as you're ok with that, they're amazing. I tried the repins at the PA showroom and the quality is great but I

Just got this chrome plated 50kg dumbbells from China
Back when Nuobells were all the rage, I had a set of the Chrome plated dbs that went to 100lbs by 10s and there was no 90lb setting. The Chrome was cool and they lasted me a few years before I sold them. I love the Repins but i do miss how fast these change weight.

Adjustable Dumbbells
I have Powerblocks and love them. Ultra quick weight changes and very sturdy and reliable. If you want something shaped more like a regular dumbbell, the Nuobells seem to be much more highly regarded compared to the Bowflex. The main downside of the Nuobell style is that some of them suffer from bre

Switch from Nuobell S5100 to the REP x Pepin
No, but I just switched from the Rep X Pepin to the Nuobell S and am incredibly happy I did. They are a little bulky a higher weight, that is right.. but nothing major & I enjoy working out with them A LOT more than the Rep X Pepin... I think the Rep X Pepin has multiple annoyances.. The stand can r

Love them! I had PowerBlocks before and Nuobells. I like these better than both - no cage, can go up to 105lbs, and not afraid if I drop them.

Nuobell S5100 or Rep Peppins
If you want easy and quick, go Nuobells. They start at 5lbs, have the quickest adjustment, and no annoying adder weights. They also have a more passive knurling, which your fiance might appreciate, and more traditional shape/feeling. For durability and heavy weight go Peppins. They are built like ta

Garage Gym 2.0: "Buy Once Cry Once" Edition
They’re great - the cageless design and the quick weight adjustment are perfect for my needs. I’ve tried the REP x Pepins, and the Nuobells just felt better (and also switched weight levels WAY more smoothly). That said, I concede they may not be for people that like to drop their dumbbells - but th

What's the best adjustable dumbbells if you're finally upgrading your home gym?
I've tried LITERALLY all the ones on the market, I just sold my Rep X Pepin and bought the Nuobell S... absolutely happy I did.. I can't say anything super bad about the Rep X Pepin's (I could definitely find things I don't like though, but ye.. mostly they are just way over hyped). Well, the Nuobel

Nuobell S5100 or Rep Peppins
Bit of a hot take Have both the Nuobells 580 and RepxPeppins for different locations (Haven’t tried the S5100 so take this with a grain of salt) The change mechanism on the Nuobells are WAYYY smoother and markedly more convenient. Plus they change in 5lb increments with a flick of the wrist and disp

Adjustable Dumbbells - Yay or Nay?
Adjustable dumbbells are essential for people who don’t have the room for fixed dumbbells. I’ve had nuobells for 6 years and I also have the microgainz 2.5lb plates for them. I also have a set of fixed dumbbells 5-30lbs and I have 2 pairs of the microgainz 1.25lb plates also. This covers so much bec
