To be honest I feel that earbuds is really question of luck whatever the brand. I got 3 samsung earbuds and they all died really quickly without reason. I decided to look up another brand and ended up with Nothing Ear, the same as you I think. I got 0 issue since I have used them.

Yes for a long time I've felt midtier is 90-95% of a flagship experience. However there will always be that 5% drawback. For me with nothing it was camera performance.
