I think everyone here has already given some great options. Just to throw my two cents into the mix: Matador Globerider 35 might be perfect for you. It lacks slightly on the comfort side but i have traveled with it 10+ times for work and a few times for personal travel and it has always gotten the job done. It’s 20L and expands to 30L. Has insane amounts of organization if you like that as well.
