For the first time, there isn't any upcoming first-party Switch 1 content

Suggestions like “sell a dockless version, sell a joycon-less version” etc all fail to acknowledge that a large reason why these accessories are so expensive when bought separately is because Nintendo needed SOMETHING to take a hit in order to keep the Switch 2’s price low, not because it’s actually

Before I return my M12 S

I really struggle to find why Nintendo refuses to make an ergonomic Joy Con. I feel like a first party Pro Con like the Split Pad Pro with all the Joy Con features (NFC, mouse, HD rumble) would sell like gang busters! Offer them in themes and generic colors! If I had a 3d printer, I could see myself

Is there a Nintendo equivalent of Concord?

Nah it's essentially a developmental tool they released for 30 bucks. I would suspect the majority of dev time and resources into it were useful for the joycon 2 and this was just a slightly polished version of some dev tool they had for testing the joy cons new features. To be a Concord you need to

Excited for months to play Halo with my kid only to find out...

It is pretty limited to Mario party, they technically do have couch co op in the typical Nintendo fashion forcing you to use joycons 1 player controls the ship while the other uses "mouse mode" to shoot. Super underwhelming game play imo I hate being forced to use the new gimmick. Kinda like how the

Glowing Home button

I had no idea the pro controller could light up. I wasn’t even sure if the joy-cons actually did since I never saw the light (until your post). Nintendo is so weird about their LED notifications

guys…where’s mouse mode?

It's a shooting game on the switch 2, where the joy-con comes built in with mouse functionality. Yes, they better actually make mouse mode possible. That's what mice are for in the context of video games. If Nintendo doesn't put mouse functionality in their biggest shooting game, why the hell did I

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (04/28/2026)

So commonly, this is due to the controller failing to charge from the system. Eventually it just runs out of charge and dies. Hence, no longer working. Bad news, if you can't confirm that the fault was the joycon alone, then a replacement might face the same fate. If the system rail has broken. Then

Switch Lite vs Switch 1 (Second hand)

I’d get the regular switch and build it up from there. Even if you decided to play 100% handheld, there are now great 3rd party joy cons that are better than Nintendo’s and don’t drift. With the lite you are stuck with the sticks it comes with.

Every time, Nintendo

New Joycons are the worst design ever made by Nintendo : useless "mouse" feature can drift like the notorious previous NS1 Joy-Cons too thin to hold in the hand without causing pain after a few minutes 80€ for this shit I am waiting for better non official joycons like i did for my Switch1. In the m

I had a feeling…

Presumably for the same (dumb) reasons you can’t use the joy con 2 or sw2 pro controller on anything else. Idk what Nintendo did differently but it sucks :/
