Got a Nespresso two weeks ago to cut down on my coffee spending — now I’m having 2-4 pods a day, so I’m not sure if it’s working out the way I intended

I got a ninja luxe cafe a year and a half ago. It came with everything for £600 and a 5 year warranty. It’s like the nespresso of espresso machines. It makes fantastic coffees/espresso. And I’m saving so much more over those stupid pods. Everyone I’ve made a drink for is blown away by the quality.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I came from a Delonghi Magnifica S Smart Bean to Cup machine to the Ninja Luxe Café Pro so have some experience of the transition. Over the last year I've been developing a Ninja Basics script which might help. It's lengthy, but covers most issue, you might want to just dip into three bits that

Struggling with bitter/sour shots

Been there, wore that T Shirt. I then did a whole pile of research and found out where I was going wrong, I'll include my findings over that last year below the line. There's a great feature in the Additional Settings menu for Barista Assist (BA), it allows you to turn it off, please, for your sanit

Help

I mean, what you say is not completely wrong, but it’s open for discussion. We (you, me, some other people here) are in the bubble of coffee enthusiasts, while majority of people simply want their daily drug in the morning or sweetened energy booster in the afternoon and they are perfectly happy wit

This machine is awesome. Ninja Lux Cafe.

Ngl, I have had a Ninja Luxe cafe for just about six months now. The wife and I use it as a daily driver for almond milk lattes. The foam isn’t the greatest, but we’re not latte artists and don’t claim to be. It’s absolute heaven, we both love it. Just got done with my cup of joe.

Bought my other half a luxe cafe pro, where is the best place to get beans from? I’m clueless when it comes to coffee

Hi Tom, Yes, this is a dip in and out document, just find the sub headings that suit your needs and maybe keep the rest for a night when your struggling to sleep, and it'll send you right of to the land of nod. Ninja's basics For your sanity only use Barista Assist (BA) as a guide to get you close t

Pro or Luxe?

They are all called Ninja Luxe Café, then there is the:- ES501 Essential ES601/ES655 Premiere/Costco variant ES701 Pro I had two Pro's. If I was to buy one again, which I won't, I'd go for the ES601/ES655 as the Integrated tamper on the Pro is just one of its Achilles heel's. Through many months of

Grind size always changing

Kind of. I've got the 701 Pro, waited for it when I found it was even a concept last year. I only use fresh beams, first lot, 17, 19, 17, 19, 18, 19, 17, it's like the thing can't make up its mind. Next batch 13, 15, 13, 15, 13, 15. This guy is a barista, he's also the roaster I buy my beans from, h

Defective Luxe Cafe Premier?

In the words of Jim Lovel on Apollo 13, "Houston we have a problem." Little advertised fact, the grinders in these machines, in fact most integrated grinders machines can't handle Light Roasted beans, they are too dense, and if they are grown at high altitude they are even more dense. I walked away

Grind size help

Well, lots to unpick here. This can and should never be compared to a Nespresso. Now that's out of the way, what volume are you getting out? What Strength are you set to, what water temperature are you set to? Below is my Ninja Basics script, just look for the subheadings that you need and dip in an
