Finally think I'm happy with my Chocolate Brownie Cookies!
If you haven't already, get yourself a good air fryer. (I have a ninja foodie xl.) We don't have ac in that part of the house either, and live in the middle of the desert, so using the oven is basically off limits from May-October. Now, you can't bake EVERYTHING in there, but it's been my favorite,

What are the best purchases or investments under $1000 that have significantly improved your health/life?
Ninja Foodi is a game changer. Got one 5 years ago, pretty much make everything in there. Has made my grill obsolete for the most part.

ChefiQ Cooker options
Apologies, when I said game changer - I meant I went from using the original Ninja Foodi Pressure Cook function about once a year to using the Pressure Cook function on the new Ninja Foodi at least once a week to get proteins to 225°F (internal) to easily shred for tacos, salads, sliders, etc. I gav

Best toaster oven air fryer combo that actually cooks evenly?
Most toaster-oven combos end up doing both jobs at "okay" rather than great, and the airflow on a basket-style air fryer is way more consistent. If you want one appliance that does roasts, reheats and crisps evenly, the Tefal Easy Fry Mega 6.2L is a single big basket that handles tray-style cooking

which one to purchase
the rotating-basket French door style ones tend to underperform compared to a proper basket air fryer , the comments here are spot on. If you can stretch to a Ninja Foodi Dual Zone , it's a massive upgrade because you can run two baskets independently and finish things at the same time. The Ninja AF

Do you own a microwave and how long have you lived in NYC?
I haven’t used a microwave in years. My last apt had an oven from the 60s that only the burners on top worked, so I purchased one of those ninja Foodi ovens and that sufficed for anything I needed to cook/reheat.

Noticed my air fryer has a dehydrator function… anyone dry their fungi in their air fryer??
I have a Ninja Foodi, which is a air fryer, toaster oven, and dehydrator all in 1. Perfect for shrooms, set it at 120-135 for 12 hrs and just let it run.

Homecooks, any recommendation for multicooker pot?
My appliances from Philips are usually lasting for more than 10 yrs so I trust the brand. But for multi function appliances usually I'm a bit wary. I have Tjean steam oven so the Ninja foodie is a bit repetitive. My husband was planning to buy me the foodie since we bought the house but I still hesi
