I actually think, with the new FX5 out that can shoot Raw in a very compressed codec (C2), Nikon will HAVE to offer a more compressed R3D, not just a H265 in Log3G10... otherwise people will not buy the ZR. Of course, the ZR is less than half of the price of the FX5, but still...

If the ZR is working great for your needs, then you should continue to shoot with it. The ZR is great in many ways and the image is punching away above it's weight. However, the ZR is not better than the FX5. One could argue it's better value... but outright better? I don't think so. I own the ZR. L

This doesn't make much sense, because if it's high-resolution and high-speed then it would have to be priced into the full frame territory and that makes for a messy lineup. Basically what happened with the Fujifilm X-H series, no bodies cares if it's the best APS-C ever when it's costing full frame
