Good point. I have been boycotting Sony since the music CD rootkit fiasco of 2005, but this year I have been tempted to look at a refurbished A7RV. I don’t necessarily want to switch systems, but I’m leaving the Z8 at home more and more, and this Z7 II will wear out eventually — then what, Nikon?

If you're looking for something that feels at home in your bear paw hands, just get a Z8. I got a refurb one from Nikon last year for $3,000 and it had a whopping 11 shots on it so basically brand new just no original box. Sold my Z6II for $800 and that shrunk the upgrade to $2200. Split on 12 month
