Looking for a Fuji “fun camera” – X-T30 III vs X-M5 vs X-Pro2?

X-Pro2. Hands down. The X-T30III is a great camera, and the X-M5 is a nice little body, and both are technically better than the X-Pro2 on pretty much every aspect besides build quality. But if what you want is fun? Well, the X-Pro2 is the most fun I've had with a camera period. And I'm a camera hoa

Central Park, first time birding

That one goes for 3k, if you want to get a good full frame on a budget, you can look at the Nikon z5ii or z6 iii. There are also lots of good apsc sensor options

Is Nikon D7500 + 35mm 1.8G still a good camera for conservative beginners with very limited budget?

I own a D810, a Z6 II, and a Z9. Maybe you should get a used Z6 or Z6 II? Great value. I'd buy that over a D7000 for the same money every single time. You'll be on mirrorless but can still shoot AF-S lenses. That's the best of the new and the best of the previous generation of equipment. And you wil

Nikon z6 for concert photography

€1200 for a decently modern full frame mirrorless system with lens(es) is just quite hard for most brands. I know this is the Nikon sub but the best you can do is probably the Sony A7III + Tamron 28-75, preferably G2. If you do mostly video then the Panasonic S5II would also be in contention. The Z6

Nikon Z6ii vs Z50ii in 2026?

Yes, pretty much. For photography, there are a couple of differences when it comes to the burst rate which are, in my opinion inconsequential (mostly down to the fact the Z6II can shoot a little bit faster : the Z6I shoots at 9fps in 14bit and 12fps in 12bit, while the Z6II shoots at 10fps in 14bit

Lens recommendation for the Z6 family? (Coming from Fuji-land. Any recs from former Fuji shooters?)

I am a Fuji lover and shooter (note the use of "am" as I'm not leaving it, unless the Z6 (III) makes me feel that the Fujis can be replaced (which will be hard to do)). And the Fujis are APC-C not M43. Primarily it was Fuji's well-known issues with autofocus. I've been shooting with them since the b

Should have brought a Leica to space…NASA are losers.

uj/ Build quality of external shell is meaningless. DSLRs having more moving parts actually make them more susceptible to vibrations etc than mirrorless, and given that every gram counts getting something lighter like Z8 or even Z6 wouldn’t affect their photos but would shave a kilo or two off the t
