Z7ii or Zf to replace Nikon F6?
Both are good. Z7ii has a better sensor and grip, but ZF is probably better af experience and portability. I would keep in mind that the Z7ii is primary CFExpress cards so new equipment to buy while ZF has a small grip so you may need a 3rd party one for comfort.

Z7ii or Zf to replace Nikon F6?
If you have already made up your mind to continue with film, I’d have them give me the Z7II. It’s worth more, and when you resell it, the extra money will help you get to the F6 faster. I would like to make a suggestion; why don’t you bang a couple of frames off and give the new camera a chance? You

Deciding between Z8, Z6iii or add a ZR for video to my already travel bag
Z5ii has 2/3 stop better dynamic range than the Z6iii under ISO 800 and matches it above ISO 800. Stacked sensors generally have a read noise penalty - you see this in Z7ii vs Z8 as well (Z7ii has 1/3 stop better dynamic range at ISO 64, and at around 2/3 better at ISO 200, though the Z8 matches it

D850 to mirrorless?
The D850 (and Z7ii) is still the pinnacle of sensor performance for still images. The Z8 has a slightly lower dynamic range. Most people get some benefits from switching to mirrorless, but better IQ is not one of them.

Z7II vs Z8?
They don’t share a sensor. The Z8 has a stacked sensor with a higher readout speed and no shutter paired to an Expeed 7 processor. It’s a Z9 in almost every way except for the grip and a few other niceties. The Z7ii has a BSI sensor (non-stacked), shutter, and 2x Expeed6 processors. It’s also physic

Z7ii, Z6iii or Z6ii
Out of the cameras you listed, I’d recommend the Z6iii. The expeed7 with faster frame rates, significantly enhanced subject detection, and near blackout free shooting are huge advantages. You are also getting some of the best video options. The Z6ii I wouldn’t even consider over the Z5ii. The Z7ii g

For those with Z bodies, what are underrated lenses in your opinion?
The little 24-50mm Z lens is pretty decent, and I'll use it on my Z7ii when I'm traveling light. My Z7ii is converted to full spectrum also, and the little 24-50mm works better for IR than the 24-70mm S, it doesn't hot-spot as bad.

For plane photography would getting a Nikon Z6 III be better or Nikon Z7 II
1.5x isn't necessarily how it works when comparing sensor sizes if the megapixels are vastly different due to pixel pitches. The z7ii has a pixel pitch of 4.35 um while the z50ii has a pixel pitch of 4.22 um. For reference the z6iii has a pixel pitch of 5.94 um. This translates into a pixel on the z

Please help me decide between OM3 and OM5
Not sure if you are still deciding. I have the OM-5 and 12-45 f/4 that I use for hiking. IMO it is the perfect compromise between weight and image quality. The lens has a close minimum focusing distance so you can get “macro” shots as well. My Nikon z7ii 24-120f/4 is my most used setup for landscape

Please Nikon make a Z7 III
It is the same slow sensor. The readout is quite a bit slower than the Z7ii 45mp sensor making the video unusable for moving subjects and same for electronic shutter. Using mechanical shutter is fine but you’re not going to see high bursts rates with it. There are also other issues caused by increas
