It strongly depends on your autofocus needs. Since you didn't mention stuff like wildlife, sports, racing or other fast paced situations, the Z7II will probably be better due to the higher MP count. If you think about starting some wildlife or sports, get the Z5II. It has the newer processor, so the

Couldnt agree more, when I went from a 24mp to the Z7ii. you can crop to oblivion with the right glass. What lens did you use on this photo?

I went from my D750 to a z7ii because I wanted the extra megapixels. I don't regret it. What surprised me was how much I love walking around with the 35mm or the 50mm 1.8 S prime. The difference in weight from walking around with the D750 with battery grip and 24-70mm F2.8 is game changing. Only dow

The Z7II only has extended dynamic range versus the Z5II below ISO100- will that really be all that useful? Landscapes and outdoor portraits maybe Astro or macro probably not as much. But more pixels can always be a blessing for these types of work- assuming you’ll actually use it for print sizes th

I went down this path about 10 years ago. I had the same issue with the regular production shots and decided to make my own. I went down the nikon path and I'm currently on a Z7ii. Most of the wide shots are made with a 50mm or 85mm depending on the venue size. I am always shooting in severe lowligh

Im no expert obviously, but I got flashed with the Z7II because of megapixels and a bit of a good deal opportunity, but after I did my purchase then I learned about the setup of this specific camera, which would not be good for action pics. I like taking pictures in general but mostly do landscape,

I went from the z7ii to z6iii as I've started shooting wildlife and some video - don't regret the change at all. Apart from the megapixels, the z6iii feels like a better camera in every regard.

Woops I meant 45 lol 😂 I think you knew what I meant. I’m not looking for validation, I know I want the Z8. My main question is about the drop in MP and is the sensor is still as good and if it’s still a good image compared to the Z8 and Z7ii. Video I’ll be happy with either. Another major factor fo

I do have the money for it, I’m just not stoked to pay that extra money for it but if it’s absolutely worth it I would. My main hobby is landscape and travel photography. I use my camera for weddings, engagements, portraits and music too. I do prints sometimes so I do appreciate the better sensor an
