Thanks! I carried a Nikon Z7II with the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens for the Z Mount. Honestly, I think a longer lens (maybe the 24-120 f/4) would have been a lot more versatile on trail, but definitely not as good for astro/nightscapes. If I did it again and could stomach the extra weight, I might do t

Hey Mate, I've been a NIkon shooter for a long time and currently use a D4; dual D850s, still have a D750 and just bought a Z6iii. Lemme tell you a story about that So I made a massive mistake with a former partner I was working with and moved from Nikon to Sony with dual A&r4s, 8 lenses and a sony

1.5x isn't necessarily how it works when comparing sensor sizes if the megapixels are vastly different due to pixel pitches. The z7ii has a pixel pitch of 4.35 um while the z50ii has a pixel pitch of 4.22 um. For reference the z6iii has a pixel pitch of 5.94 um. This translates into a pixel on the z

I went from my D750 to a z7ii because I wanted the extra megapixels. I don't regret it. What surprised me was how much I love walking around with the 35mm or the 50mm 1.8 S prime. The difference in weight from walking around with the D750 with battery grip and 24-70mm F2.8 is game changing. Only dow

I have the 24 to 120 and I love it. It's on my camera the most of any of my lenses. It's a lens that gets a lot of love here and elsewhere. I have a 70 to 200 f4 in F mount I use with the FTZ adapter my Z7ii and Z8 when I need the extra reach. I'm not afraid of noise or high ISO anymore. It's only a

This! Z5II + quality, native Z glass beats Z7ii, Z6iii and/or Z6ii. Check my profile for detailed review and impressions of Z5II (i previously owned Z6II). It's a helluva cammera for the money.

If you don't have any F mount glass, go for the Z. The lenses are better. I loved my D750, it went with me on some amazing adventures for 11 years and never disappointed. But I haven't used it since buying a z7ii last year.

I started with a Z6ii, then a Z7ii and now have a Z8. The cameras are definitely excellent, and the Z8 is a real winner I'll bet you'd be comfortable with coming from the D850. But the most amazing thing about this system isn't in the camera - it's the lenses. The Z line of lenses are incredible acr

Repeated often and personally found to be true, the Z7II is still an incredible landscape camera. The big sensor allows for crops, or when the Upright Tool crops your photos, your composition may remain intact. Another thing I like about it is that it is compact and light. With an older generation o

I've owned some older fuji's (X-T1, X-T2, X-H1, X100F) and I have newer Z-bodies (Z50, Z6ii, Z9) and owned/used lots of others (Z50ii, Z6iii, Z7ii, z8) and the autofocus is ofcourse far better. I like the menu on Nikon's better (though that's subjective), the main thing I would point towards is bein
