I unironically love the sound of a Mixcube
Look for sealed speakers, they have no bass reflex port to extend the low end and and can sound bandwidth limited depending on the amount/size of the driver. HEDD offers a physical option to switch to closed speakers by supplying plugs for the ports on their speakers. Amphions are sealed speakers, t

Getting pretty serious as a label owner and producer, any outboard mastering gear I should look into?
Under $1000 total, I really like the Yamaha HS8 Monitors. If your budget is considerably higher, Neumann KH 310.

Time to upgrade monitors…want better mid range detail
Neumann KH150 + MA1 ; slightly over budget but quality and imo by far the best in this price range/class. Will obviously not sound like ATC, only ATCs will - the neumanns are more linear. Edit: I have the KH310 + KH750 + MA1. I’ve been to many (high end) studios and my setup punches far above its we

New Monitor Speakers
You’re welcome. I’m not familiar with the T series, but from what I know of Adam, their entire lineup uses ribbon tweeters, so I think you generally get decent bang for your buck even with the lower end models. I use Neumann btw, KH310s with KH750 ssystem. They’re pretty boring, but I think Neumann

Can you guess the style of music I make from this picture?
i'd do some simple, basic acoustic treatment first. then, and only then, look at better monitors than a7x. a good, linear listening enviroment is a combo of good acoustic and good monitoring. throwing money at monitoring only - is a waste. and most frequent amateur mistake. to keep it affordable, i'

New Monitoring setup
FWIW, I just swapped the KSDs in for my neumann kh310 + sub and they’re awesome. Much clearer low end compared to the Neumanns and more extension in both directions. They are seriously incredible for the price, albeit not for everyone’s tastes. I do recommending getting the remote ($1000!) because t

Moving on from Adam A7x and looking for recommendations.
Just hold out for a pair of used Neumann KH310’s and it will be the last pair of speakers you’ll ever buy. Optionally, within your current price point, you could go for the KH120’s w/sub (not Neumann — as it’s outside the budget) and find yourself with something a bit smaller that could fit the bill

Daily workspace :) Every single day I enter it, I take a moment of gratitude that I’m able to do what I love for a living and can enjoy music in a perfect way during lunch break :)
Indeed. Nothing better in that prize category. To me personally there’s actually nothing I like more until 1900 each. Which would be the Neumann KH 310. Technically there is some stuff obviously above 1500, but in a perfectly treated and measured room the SC307 sounds soooo good and fun. Lowend cuto

Analog Studio Monitors?
Who would hype up a 2-way speaker design with a 6.5” woofer as “mid-field”? Oh right, a shop would. Even a 8” Neumann KH 310, a fantastic monitor, is useless for mid-field due to the sealed design. That said, yes, prices in the US are terrible these days due to the import tariffs.
