If you're okay with the looks, then the Genelec 8040s are really solid. Depending on where you are, you can sometimes find the KEF LS60s for close to that price used. If you are interested in other studio monitor options aside from Genelec, then maybe consider the Kali SM-5 or Neumann KH 120 II.
