I just got my flow 2, first narwal. Im comparing it to a saros 20 I also just got. I was commenting to myself on the design of the latch for the water tank, and how it seemed cheap and likely to not last as long as the roborock design. I think this was shipping damage, in your case.

Excellent post. I’ve just bought myself a flow and having huge problems going from a 3/4” water lines to the 1/2” needed for the NARWAL. What did you use for to reduce the diameter? I’ve tried but ‘garden hose’ and ‘pipe fittings’ threads but both leak!
