I dont even know if this is the right reddit for this

Is it too late to return it and get a QMK/VIA board where you can program it to turn off NKRO? https://imgur.com/a/binding-layer-1-n-fn-n-to-tggle-nkro-via-tyFHBvX Since you seem to be buying on Amazon US, try these options: Redragon K717 Pro * ($20) CIDOO QK61 * ($60) Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA * ($54) Ro

GIFT KEYBOARD

So the TAC75 would be bigger. The other poster (u/vAmmonite) would be better able to advise you about magnetic boards but apparently Valorant doesn't benefit much from them. I'm not a gamer so take that with a grain of salt but here are some 60% boards I like... they all have QMK firmware and use VI

The Anne pro 2

It's a fairly old board, there's nothing particularly special about it other than the cool programming trick with the arrow keys. It's also soldered which is kind of something to avoid. It's mostly historically interesting. It was amazing when it came out but now any QMK board is almost certainly be

Looking for suggestions on a physically small keyboard.

These are all QMK based with VIA configuration, which is close to the best in class for a programmable mechanical keyboard. How should I start to get into making custom keyboards?

Alternatively you could buy a cheap 60% keyboard and just swap in your nice case. Generally this doesn't work, cheap 60% keyboards don't tend to have GH60 mounting points. :( Skyloong is a bit of an exception here, but Womier and RK and Redragon, let alone the bottom scrapers like HKGaming, just don

At what point did you notice keyboards actually make a difference?

Back in the '80s when I realized my horrible commercial terminal with the fixed keyboard with heavy keys was damaging my hands. As for what you should buy, there are too many good inexpensive hotswap boards with QMK firmware to get anything less. CIDOO QK61 * Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA * XVX M67 Jadestone

Any plans for a K6 QMK?

The Q4 is tray mount so won't have the loose switch issues. South facing, though. North-facing options: Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA * ($54) Royal Kludge RK61 QMK/VIA * ($40) The GK61 is GH60-compatible (proof) and has a default layout with mod/tap arrows. The RK61 has a crappy default layout but this fixes
