Auto tamping seems kind of….stupid to me. Tamping essentially is just pressing down on the coffee, and generally requires no more than 30lb of pressure so really most people shouldn’t physically struggle with it. The tricky part comes more from having the coffee grounds distributed/spread properly b

Bambino Plus found, now need grinder [$500]
Get a DF 64. Excellent grinder will do a nice espresso grind. Under $400 from several sellers like EspressoOutlet or MiiCoffee. The smaller DF54 is really nice too, under $300.

Best coffee grinder under 400$ Canadian for espresso and batch brew?
Yeah you could probably find something to DIY a hopper on there if you find the bellows aren't big enough. These are the brew burrs. They are pretty cheap as far as flat burrs go but they are more geared toward filter. The burrs on the DF54 are geared more toward espresso but I am sure would still w

Best set up for a beginner? [$800.00 budget]
I recommend MiiCoffee Apex V2 and Turin Legato V2 are essentially the same and either one is a solid choice you won’t feel the need to upgrade after just six months. The DF54 and Starseeker E55 are excellent grinders worth considering. As for the Bambino, I find it overrated and overpriced. Its temp

Grinder Recommendations [200-400 Euro]
From everything I've read on this sub, the DF54 is the way to go as the best grinder in that range. I bought one as my first grinder a few months ago and haven't had a complaint (although I don't have much to compare it to). Great for espresso, also very good for pour over as it is flat burrs, you e
