Should I buy
Try to find a good deal on a 13.8 inch instead, that will do you much better, but this might be fine, but it's just so much bettter to get the 13.8 inch i really do reccomend finding a used one, ebay, facebook marketplace, whatever works for you. Also the surface laptop 7 13.8 inch is probably more

Looking for an extremely quiet (I’m autistic, fans really bother me) and relatively light laptop with good battery life. Will just be using it for college. Don’t want to buy a MacBook. Have €1200 to spend. Thanks

Yes, you'll hear the fans more often in a 13-inch X Elite. Besides that, not really since Windows on ARM still hasn't matured. If you want the X Elite, go for a 15-inch Microsoft Surface Laptop 7.
