Bruh I literally just went to make some coffee, came back, and found my laptop screen tinted green and split into two halves!
Windows 11 on my Surface Laptop 3 (a Microsoft-branded laptop lmao) did the same thing. Turned green and did some wacky nonsense. Thought my computer was dead. Needless to say, been running linux since 2021, never once have I had issues, never looked back. All I can say I'm sorry you're not having a

Is linux actually getting more attention?
I was using Paint on Windows 11 when I saw Copilot was integrated and nearly puked. I gave up Microsoft 365 (I really used it for OneDrive) because I’m trying to cut out US businesses, so giving up the OS was the next logical step. So far it’s been painless and my Surface Laptop 3 is so fucking snap

Microsoft reveals major price increases for all Surface PCs as RAM crisis continues
Same, i guess My Surface Laptop 3 needs to squeeze out an extra year or two longer until Microsoft figures it out lol. But the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 ultra is looking like a better option anyway.

Windows users, what made you switch to a Mac??
Ecosystem. iPhone, iPad Pro, Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro 3. You can cross pollinate iCloud pretty well to Windows finally, but it’s just not the same. Got Surface Laptop 3 with i7 at home during pandemic. Play Minecraft with kid and the heat and fan were crazy. He has same thing with i5 and it

New screen sensitivity. Feeling hopeless and panicked, help requested
Windows is a mess. A total mess. Windows 11 is basically unusable for most of us, and Microsoft have just broken Windows 10 on at least some configurations with their latest (forced) update. I myself am in the process of finding a Linux distro that works for me for my personal pc because I'm fed up

Any thoughts on what to do with a Microsoft Surface laptop with a bloated battery?
If it's older than the Surface Laptop 3 then it didn't even have screws holding it down. The Laptop 1 and 2 both got 0/10 repairability. Also Microsoft advises against replacing the battery, you have to take the motherboard out first and the battery is adhered to the bottom case!

Microsoft raises prices of their Surface PCs by up to 500$ due to DRAM/NAND crysis
My devices were similar too. Although I have to say now they’re quite old, but: my Surface Pro 2 was plagued with hardware and software issues. At one point 10 Insider Preview corrupted the framework, which forced me to send it to Microsoft. Then another build corrupted all the “modern” apps, includ

Surface 7 Laptop Rebooting Itself
How did you resolve this? My Surface Laptop 7 for Business has been spontaneously rebooting ever since I've had it over the past 6 months, including 28 times last month. It sounds like replacing the laptop may be the next step, but there are mixed reports of that resolving this issue. The logged Sys

Why do we target Windows Software but not Mac Software
I'm a linox user especially on older old PCS that don't run Windows 7 anymore LOL. Let's face it Unix is the parent and it had two children one became Mac iOS the other became Linux they were both the kernels from the parents of Unix. Macs are very proprietary their Hardware is very good quality but
