Forgot to reply this, sorry! I’ve got the Meze 105 AER. I was eyeing up their bigger brother, the 109 Pros (and also fantasising about HD800S) but neither are quite within my budget haha In any case, these are still the most expensive cans I own, and they’re fantastic. It’s been really fun listening

Best Sennheiser headset for under $1000
For such a budget my suggestion would be Arya Stealth with a good DAC. I normally recommend K11, K13 R2R, K7 or DX5 II. 490 Pro while good felt like a poor choice for 400$. Even the Meze 105 AER was better. You can even do a Meze 109 Pro and a K11 (or R2R) in that budget which will be significantly
