Extortion Using Smart Glasses Is a Thing Now
These recording-glasses are destined to be a favorite product for two groups of people: influencers and creeps. It will be hard to distinguish between the two. But seeing people wearing these glasses will be a clue to stay far away from them. The fact that the on-while-recording white led light is t

Woman Goes to Get Brazilian Wax, Alarmed to Notice Waxer Is Wearing Meta’s Video Recording Glasses
I knew someone that worked for Meta's R&D for VR tech and these wonderful little glasses. She told me how Meta actively encouraged their employees to wear and record whenever possible outside of work but to do so without telling anyone. No shock to me that Meta themselves were the first creeps using

Introducing GoPro DashCam for Dogs (DogCam)🎦

I find them absolutely dumb with almost no utility, but users aren't like you or myself. The reason why I focus on after 2040s is that I largely agree

Apple Vision Pro Launched Two Years Ago Today
...even if we disregard the fact that the leak came from a reputable leaker, So you need to read a bit closer: the reputable leaker, Mark Gurman, did not say that Vision Pro v2 is cancelled. He said the light weight Vision "Air" was cancelled, and the followup Vision Pro is still on track for 2028ish,

Meta Has Smart Glasses Spiraling Towards Glasshole 2.0
Don't forget spying on yourself! These have no purpose at all. "A 2026 investigation revealed that Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses record and send video footage to human contractors in Kenya, who review and label the content to train AI. These contractors have viewed intimate moments, including bathroom
