[Hobby Scuffles] Week of 18 August 2025

Just finished playing games for the night, so I'll get an early start and ask What's Everyone Playing This Week? I'm still at Cyberpunk 2077, but I'm almost done! Just have two more endings to get before I consider my first playthrough done, currently at 89 hours. Didn't really play anything else of

Mouse recommendations?

can recommend mchose. i tried a lot of different and extreme mice in the last ~9k hrs apex and the L7 pro is my current endgame (39g, 8khz, light optical switches and a great mousewheel). im a lurching mouse wheel abuser myself and got my L7 since +15mo/~3k hrs now without any issues - like new desp

Best Mouse Guide 2026

I use an Mchose L7 Pro after I moved from Logitech G102 after it he l started getting double click issues. L7 Pro is the best mouse I've ever used. Tried Deadthadder Essential too but just doesn't work for me. The 40g weight is extremely light and fun to use in fps, with the optical switches

Is the Logitech superstrike x2 worth it for just siege?

If you want a new mouse I highly suggest you go down the path of Chinese mice. Personally I bought the Mchose L7 Pro for around £40, amazing mouse and 22 grams lighter than the new Logitech.

Is the Logitech superstrike x2 worth it for just siege?

pro players are using lighter mice not because of them being better but because of the physical strain. They are playing their games for 16+ hours a session in some cases, for weeks. You are not a pro player, you are not playing that many hours, non-stop. Optical switches are not that great and can

Endgame Glasspad

que mouse recomiendan?

Mchose L7, pro negro si tienes una mano de 17cm de palma, ultra+ si es 18-19cm. Pero sin saber el tamaño de tu palma ni tipo de agarre difícil

Winboat is an amazing tool to upgrade firmware of USB peripherals

Just used it to update my new Mchose L7 Pro mouse/dongle, worked like a charm! The "web driver" hub allows configuring the profiles in Linux, and it even showed that the firmware was out-of-date, but the update button was greyed out (tried multiple vpn locations and site languages, had correct udev
