How should I go about getting a fightstick

In my honest opinion, don’t build your first one if you’re on a budget. It usually ends up costing more once you add a case, PCB, buttons, lever, wiring, shipping, tools, etc. For PS5 + Tekken/SF6 I’d start with: Budget: Mayflash F500 + MagicBoots/Brook adapter if needed Better ready-to-go: Hori Fig

Good controller for sf6?

Unfortunately I’m on the PS side of things so I can’t recommend you and pads. But if you REALLY want to go to leverless I recommend getting a Haute off Amazon for $50 or if you got $70 you could get the Mayflash F500 flat.

After my first fighting stick

They both work, but honestly? Neither. Neither are really meant to be upgraded, and don't have a great reputation. I know prices aren't great in AUS, but the lowest tier that would recommend would be a Mayflash: either the F500 or F700. They're worth the price, so save up if you can.

PS5 & Switch / Switch 2 Fight Stick

Buy the F300s and two MagicBoots-S5 (you'll need to update the F300 firmware) and you'll have full compatibility with Switch/Switch 2, PS4 and PS5. DualShock 4 and clone (unlicensed) DS4 controllers will not enable Legacy Support for Tekken 8/PS5 fighting games. Legacy Support is limited compatibili

My third haute42 hitbox just broke

I had two and they both had the same issue with the soldering within like 3 months of using them. If you want one in the same price range that hasn't done anything like that for me in a year in a bit, the Mayflash f500 Flat has been working great. Just quite a bit thicker.

What’s a good budget fight stick? (EU)

Mayflash have the best options for budget levers. Depending on what platform your playing on, here in the UK you can often find the Venom PS3 arcade stick pretty cheap, like between £25 - £50 from either CeX or on Facebook Marketplace. Its a clone of the Mayflash F500, but doesn't use Sanwa parts, w

Looking for arcade stick recommendations

There are some budget arcade sticks I'm aware of: Hori fighting stick mini, Mayflash F500, 8bitdo arcade stick. I'm not sure how easy they are to mod but they should be decent for under $100. You can try it out and see if you like it. I love them for shmups and fighting games. Definitely check out s

What stick do u get if youre just a little nobody gamer with a few dozen dollars to your name?

I was on a tight budget so I bought a Mayflash F500 and left it stock for a while, and it was more than enough to tide me over while I saved for a Sanwa lever upgrade. IMO the buttons are good enough that I didn’t feel the need to upgrade them.

Need help

8bitdo or mayflash f500 is the bare minimum for a new lever. Otherwise look on ebay for old qanbas or hori.
