1 nude bullet lippie that you always have in your purse
Colorbar kiss proof Haute Latte is close but it is a very drying liquid lipstick formula which is slightly darker than brique rose. I apply it like a lip tint, dabbed and blended. Not to mention even this one is being phased out of circulation. My next favourite was Maybelline Touch of Spice. Simila

Haus Labs Triclone 210 is a perfect match. What joy! On the lips is Mac Hug Me. All my foundations read neutral. I think I am a muted olive. Am I? Will appreciate all help from you lovely people here. Thanks ☺️
Some other foundations that match. Adding what the brands say about the undertones - Haus Labs - 210 (Neutral With Soft Peach Undertones)- Mac Studio Radiance- NC12(beige with neutral undertone)- Mac Studio Fix Foundation - NC18 (beige with neutral undertone)- Nars Light Reflecting Foundation - Pata

If you have Maybelline touch of spice do not buy the shade - 003 open late (maybelline serum lipstick)
Shade touch of spice and 003 open late both are exactly the same. I got my money wasted. 😭 It looked pretty online on reels and the swatch Maybelline provided, but it's very dark and isn't the shade I expected it to be.

Lipstick fails as olive skintone
Maybelline touch of spice earlier was a wonderful shade. This new formula has screwed it up 😭

Finally found some pinks & pink-browns that are forgiving on my NC20 Neutral muted olive skin tone. These are warm pink/rosewood on my lips.
The one big reason that nudged in the olive direction was the way my skintone hated cult favourites pinks and mauves like Mac Mehr and Twig, Maybelline Touch of Spice and Revlon Rum Raisin and Shameless.

Golden Olives 🫒✨
"I used the most hyped Maybelline in shade 'nude nuance' and it turned out to be greyish orange toned pink on my lips (idk how to explain). Maybelline 'touch of spice' looks neon pink on me. Any foundation with pink undertone looks ashy and lifeless and any shade of warmer foundations look orange 🍊

Some neutral and warm brown lipsticks that don’t pull orange on my muted olive skintone.
I think you’ll slay pinks. My skin hates them. The crowd favourites Mac Whirl, Twig and Mehr make me look dead. Ditto for Maybelline Touch of Spice. Make a post. Hopefully you’ll find your tribe ❤️

Neutral searching for sheer, muted red lipsticks
I’m in the same situation. I’m also a soft summer. I have yet to find the perfect lippie in that muted soft red. My normal go to is a deep but muted rose or brownish rose. I also use NARS Dolce vita afterglow lip balm and that does fall into that muted reddish category but it’s pretty sheer. For a d

Foundation & Concealer Shade Twins!
Oh tell me about it! Looking at you Mac Mehr, Twig, Cafe Mocha and even Whirl 😫 (The new Whirl is bomb though, swatched yesterday) That’s why I don’t go near Velvet Teddy. Also looking hard at you Maybelline Touch of Spice (ugggh)

After a lot of struggle found a few pinks & pink-browns that are forgiving on my NC20 Neutral (maybe olive) skin tone. All of these are a warm pink/ rosewood on my lips.
Pleasure 🩷😇Have struggled so much with pinks.Cult favourites such as Maybelline Touch of Spice, Revlon Rum Raisin and Mac Mehr and Twig were such let downs that I am happy to have found some that actually work.
