Since when is L'Oreal mascara $18.99?!?

The waterproof (blue tube) lash princess mascara is the best mascara. It’s actually how good I thought Maybelline great lash was when I was like 11 years old and my cool teenage cousin gave me a half empty tube of hers. Edited - wrote the wrong tube color

Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years

ngl brands like mac and urban decay have really decreased in quality since 2019, while drugstore brands have only gotten better…I remember when drugstores only had 3 brands and no color ranges. You could buy “black” or “blackest black” mascara, silver or blue eye shadow, and mauve or red lipstick. N

Which expensive make up product isn't worth it?

I use armani luminous silk foundation. It's expensive but the bottle lasts me a long time. I mostly use it as concealer, it can be layered and feels like nothing. I've tried all manner of mascaras, I just use maybelline great lash, as I have long eyelashes and they get thrown after a few months anyw

any with a shitty, non-waterproof formula will work. Maybelline great lash is notoriously good for this because of how runny it's consistency is.

Looking for an eyeliner that will run when I cry

Line your eyes with a bunch of black powder eyeshadow and pile on two or three coats of Maybelline Great Lash. Streaks and smudges guaranteed.

What "holy grail" drugstore products have you never stopped repurchasing?

maybelline great lash mascara in pink and green bottle, has to be the BIG wand, not regular size. been using it since 5th grade (late 2000s). never has failed me, every time I try something new, I hate it lol

Mascara

I use Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof. The trick is this: before applying, take a tissue and wipe almost ALL the mascara off the applicator. Then apply in multiple layers. You will nearly always get clumps or way too much per lash if you don't wipe first. Taught to me by a model.

Need help building my daughter's first makeup bag

I think the following is a nice start: A clear brow gel A black-brown mascara: Maybelline Great Lash is a classic for a reason A simple lip product or two- a sheer lipstick and a gloss to layer if she wants A basic powder/skin tint A small eyeshadow palette- Colourpop and Morphe have great ones that

Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years

I love many high end products but also know I can rely on some drugstore brands. For instance, you can never go wrong with Maybelline Great Lash in a pinch or otherwise. Physician’s Formula is trustworthy. And last year I bought a Wet & Wild Megaglo Hello Halo blush/highlighter (in I Met Someone) th
