Whats most overrated makeup product ever seen?
Ever seen? Alright here we go (Sorry if your favourite is in this, this is just based on my experience working as a make-up artist): Complexion: Estee Lauder Double Wear. Now, I haven't tried their newest formulation, but for some years this was the UK's best selling foundation. It just doesn't look

Products everyone loves & you cant stand!
Maybelline Great Lash in the green packaging. Never worked for me, always clumped and flaked. I don't get why people love it.

What’s a “holy grail” product everyone loves but just… didn’t work for you at all? What happened?
Maybelline Great Lash. Does nothing for my lashes and then smudges

What was THE makeup product in the 90s or early 2000s?
90s Chanel Vamp nails and lips. Urban Decay eyeshadow and nail polish. Hard Candy nail polish. Clinique Black Honey lippie and their matte foundation, although the foundation wasn't "cool," was just really good. It was the older sister/auntie brand. The more trendy foundation was Mac, which was just

Most of Gen Z was in elementary school the last time CoverGirl was releasing products that were actually popular. 2026 CoverGirl is like the flyover country of the makeup aisle across all age groups; and I don't see 20 year

80's Makeup
That Great Lash pink and green bottle mascara was pushed forever in beauty magazines throughout the 80s and 90s. To me it was only ok I dont know if Maybelline just threw a tonne of money behind it.

Rant about tubing mascara
I love Caliray’s Come Hell or High Water (tubing mascara). I find that it actually makes my lashes look longer and when I go to remove it it actually slides off easily, but doesn’t fall/ run while I’m wearing it. Before that, I used Maybelline’s The Rocket Volum Express. I found it volumizing, but t

90s makeup - What were your fav products? ✨
Covergirl Clean Makeup and Pressed Powder for Sensitive Skin was my base. Covergirl Invisible Concealer, too. Revlon lipstick in Coffee Bean with a brown Jordana eyeliner as a lipliner. I also loved Jane Cosmetics blush in Blushing BabyDoll, but I think that might have been in the very early 2000s.
