A lot for the music in general: DJay Pro: well for djing obviously. I don’t use any controller, I do everything on the screen. Drambo: Music creation tool that let you combine other apps like synth apps or drum machine apps. It’s amazing! Apple Music & YouTube Music: when I’m in my living room my iP

you can get a pair of Mackie MR524's for ~$400, they're fairly decent both for listening & mixing (especially for the price)

Why away from Mackie?I agree about CR series but MR524/624 sounds like better than Kali LP6 V2, Yamaha HS5/7, Adam T5V/T7V, JBL 305/306, KRK Rokit 5/7 Gen4 or Gen5. I don't refer Presonus and Tannoy because they are the worst

People seem divided on this subject. Some like you told me it should be ok, others advised me against 6.5'', at low volume and from too close these may be less precise than 5'' and low frequencies may take over. A shame they don't make a 5'' version. (IN-5 are considerably more expensive) With Adam

With little experience i gathered until now in sound world and considering your taste as its described partly in main post and also asking price and while i read almost all replies and since you don't search for 8" woofer then i think that Adam T7V, Mackie MR624, JBL 306P, Focal Alpha 65 Evo, Preson

Generally yes, though it's not like there's a huge difference between the two in terms of sound. Though I've learned that the JBL 305P MkII emit an audible hiss when they're running, so if you're sensitive to that then I would go with the Mackie MR524 instead as they don't have this issue.

Why are you resurrecting a year old thread? And what are you saying? The Mackie MR524 looks rather bad if you compare it agains Kali LP-6v2. It is closer to the (still better than it) JBL 305p MkII. Is that what you were trying to say?
