My go-to mascara is L’Oreal Lash Paradise, specifically the latte brown color. It’s a good mascara that lasts all day and doesn’t smudge. Black mascara is too dark for my complexion, and it’s one of the few lighter brown mascaras that’s easy to find.

If staying power is your only priority, I'd look at Heroine Make Long & Curl Super Waterproof. It's one of the most waterproof mascaras out there and holds up really well to swimming, sweat, and humidity. SkyHigh has been my HG a long time and I’m using L’Oreal Lash Paradise now to try something different. It’s as great as SkyHigh but comes off so much easier at night, slips right off without any issues during the day.
