This is not true. I'm using a Logitech G Pro X wired headset with its corresponding speaker/mic Y-splitter cable into the original USB DAC of the Logitech G430, another headset I own. It works perfectly.

Much more important is the magnet, but that's often a hidden detail. Logitech had Headphones with 40mm Drivers and a Neodymum magnet, and they had such a good sound. The newer version of the Headphone had a weaker magnet and 50mm and the sound quality is absolutely garbage compared to the old ones w
