It technically stresses the battery less of it's off while charging, so I get it... But like... I'm still using my g700s I got 10+years ago. It has a replaceable/rechargeable AA battery. I tried the g604 since the g700s isn't supported in ghub (need to use the old logitech gaming software) but my first g604 stopped working and got it replaced under warranty and the 2nd stopped working soon out

I know this is old, but I know feel this thread.I loved my g700s because of the 3 buttons extra buttons on the left clicker. Solid mouse, bad battery life. I eventually went with the g604. Lost the 3rd button on the left-clicker, but at least gained 2 more on the side. It is impossible to find a rep

I don't see the problem. My Logitech G700s mouse takes a standard AA-rechargable Battery and charges from the front via USB. I presume a huge company like Logitech has thought this through enough and concluded a "ONLY USE NIMH BATTERIES" sticker and a picture of a rechargable 1.2v battery would suff
