Making Windows better is easier then learning Loonix system administration.
I've been trying to move to loonix from windows for years. I like the challenge of learning new things, and I've gone so far with windows that it's now so useful I'm running out of ways to make it better. When I plug in my vial based keyboard to windows, it just works. In loonix I have to enter some

Years in the making, my Battlestation has finally reached its Omega form.
Thank you! Logitech G604 (The greatest mouse ever made, I’m glad I bought four of them when I did considering the price.) Logi MX Keys (MacOS version) I love the setup so far, keyboard is sturdy and quiet, has three channels which is perfect for my setup and to switch between, works super well for g

Keyboard or solidworks and autoCAD
I love the initiative of trying to get a keyboard with extra buttons, but I have tried A LOT of different solutions for this and by far the best thing to do is just re-map all of your most-used hotkeys to single-button shortcuts on your left hand, no fancy keyboard needed. That way your right hand n

Linus Tech Tips - Every Product I Couldn't Release December 26, 2025 at 12:18PM
Are there any solid modular mice recommendations? My favorite mouse is the Logitech G604 LIGHTSPEED for the extra buttons and use of a AA battery. But they were discontinued and now sell for almost $400 if I ever need a replacement. Bonus points if I can remap it with Linux (SteamOS)

Additional equipment for Lightroom Classic Editing?
I love using my Logitech G604 mouse with 6 buttons by the thumb. I've added macros for LR and PS to it. Speeds up most processes quite a bit. Too bad the G604 is now EOL and no replacement is been launched (yet).

Good wireless CAD mouse without software?
I use the Logitech G604. Same situation, I installed the customization software on my home computer and the onboard memory saves the settings. It has 8 customizable buttons and I've been using it for so long I couldn't imagine running any CAD software without it now.

Keyboard vs controller
I spent a ton of hours in the practice range going back and forth between the two inputs. Controller is waaaaay easier to just pickup and play, but once you figure out the awkwardness of mnk it is clearly superior, in my opinion. What mouse do you all use?
Logitech G604. Fits my hand nicely, all the thumb buttons are great, and it takes AA batteries, which IMO is far preferable to an internal battery.

G604 have been discontinued, what would be the replacement?
How about this?https://www.ebay.com/itm/177152338161Rubber Anti-Slip Grip Tape For Logitech G604 Wireless Mouse Where's the crack? The only breakdown I've had so far is the thumbrest lifting a bit, and my ring finger is wearing down into the right side rubber.

Ok, the joke is getting old. When are we getting a G600 successor?
Be realistic they must sell 100x the g502's as they do the g600. It's just basic business. If it's not profitable they'll stop making it. It's a very niche market. A lot of people now want super light mice, and almost everyone wants a wireless one. If you're really that desperate to keep them around
