I've had two previous Logitech headsets that had this issue. The "fix" was to fiddle with the power switch, turning it off and on again until it sounded right. I don't know if the G522 has a power button or a switch, but I thought I would suggest it for good measure. It's unacceptable to need to do

Upgraded mine recently from over ear Logitech G522 Lightspeed to some Soundbrenner Wave IEM's and the sound difference is night and day. The IEM's are so much better in every aspect, and I thought the Logitech's were good!

It didn't hold up, the headset stopped working in a few months. Turtle beach support was a nightmare. I ended up going with the Logitech g522 and it's much better
