Your skates on your g502x plus are fucked then. My g502x glided so much better than my superstrike even with the default skates on the x. That's what prompted me to change the superstrike ones to glass and they are far better.

Yeah my g502x plus is like 3 years old and glided far better than my superstrike straight out of the box when I was testing them. Heck even my attack shark superlight clone was better than the superstrike but tbf it is only 40g so somewhat expected. But yeah light mouses should fly about not be bric

It really depends on what you want but it sounds like you want it to glide easily. In that case id recommend either the ice glass skates or pulsar superglides. I personally have the superglides control version but even then in testing them out I managed to yeet the mouse of my desk. You can go speed
