G502 Lightspeed is economically obsolete these days. It was released 6 years ago. In my country at least a 502 Lightspeed is 10 euros more expensive than the newer, sleeker G502X Plus. Pretty much a no-brainer if you're looking to upgrade to wireless and stay in the Logitech family.

I have had 3 Logitech g502, they are the best mouse ever made, wired or wireless. The g502x is nice, but it’s expensive, and the wireless charging only works with the expensive wireless charging pad. The g502 lightspeed is my preferred mouse. I modded mine with glass skates and khail silent switches

Contact Logitech support. They replaced mine with a brand new Superlight Pro 2 simply because the rubber was breaking away on my G502 X Lightspeed. Their support team are solid.
