It is really good. It's a big mouse which I like, it has four extra customizable buttons, an unlockable mouse wheel, a fifth button that can also be customized but it's best to leave it in the DPI shift, and it's wired so you don't have to bother with batteries. G502 HERO might be the overall best m

G502 Hero any day. it’s the perfect mouse. weird to choose these if you rarely game though. i would be looking into ergonomic ones if i did the kind of work you’re mentioning.

It’s a shame they revised the G502 and didn’t just sunset the original and call it something else.. for the price, I should have bought several years ago before they started cheating out on it. That said, if anyone here has any affordable, but GOATed mouse recommendations, I’d love to check them out

I've literally only used g502 heroes (as a mouse for general use, not for gd I switched to Sayo last year) for like the past 8 years, bought it for GD but it's genuinely such a robust mouse, I've only had to replace it once

This old software is a lifesaver for my G502 Hero, since everything can be saved to the mouse’s onboard memory instead of using the new buggy shitty G Hub.

This makes it so that the button assignments are all saved on the mouse itself and even when I connect it to a PC without the Logitech software runni

iirc the new version has optical sensors which should completely eliminate the issue It's great, i have a G502 hero but I don't use it for games (i game on controller), but it's genuinely goated for productivity and anything else and i wouldn't have any other mouse for that.

Thank you for the data but Where is the average ownership time data, phantom clicks will happen on anything you mash or own forever but I owned an original g502 for 6 years and only upgraded to the hero because I wanted an upgrade and was building a new pc at the time anyway, never experienced phant

No that mouse is a legendary mouse. I had that mouse for 15 years and replaced it a couple years ago when mine died a with a g502 hero. At the end of the day what matters most is whats comfortable for you.
