Soundboks MIX or Soundboks 4?
For the price of the Soundboks MIX or Soundboks 4, I think I'd rather get an Elektrovoice Everse 8. For DJing specifically, the Soundboks speakers have significant sound delay, even when using the wired connection. Whereas the Everse 8 will not have delay when wired, and it has more wired connection

Good portable Sound System?
I think with your budget the best sound you can get is 2 HK Audio move 8. Or one Elektrovoice Everse 12 or QSC CB10. I have an LG xboom Stage 301, it's alright for small groups but doesn't scale as well as the options outlined above. On the other hand, spending 500 bucks on a battery generator like
