Our TV broke yesterday so we picked up an LG C5 today. The TV we had was ok, but just LCD and nearly 10 years old. The difference is staggering, recommend!

Depends what you do. I sit 6 ft from a 65 inch lg c5. Its amazing for movies and gaming. But for my work monitor I prefer a ips panel with some eye care features enabled. 0 risk for burn in. I am currently @ 1440p but text isnt clear enough and looking for a 4k 120hz ips.
