Just did this. Seems to be 60fps in quality mode. I’ll try and compare both images now but this one really seems to be better, even with the loss of resolution. My TV is an LG G5.

bro whoever told you a monitor is better than an LG G5 OLED for gaming is actually smoking some incredibly good quality crack cocaine unless you need to play something at over 165fps at 4K (who the fuck?) it'll be better than any monitor

The 83" S95F/H uses LGs flagship "Primary RGB Tandem WOLED" like on the LG G5/G6, which is much better than your standard WOLED panel.

Because my need is the panel, and those don't come on a lesser model. LG G5 on the wall, I think the native OS is bleh. There was an Apple TV hooked up to it within hours. Much better.

S95F is barely better than the S90F, and in fact has a matte screen coating which imo makes it worse than the S90F which has a glossy screen. Samsung OLEDs aren’t as good as LG and SONY OLEDs. The LG G5 has excellent HDR native gradient handling. There's some very minor banding in some colors, but it's barely noticeable with real content.
