I was shopping for a 77" LG G4/G5 OLED but found a 85" Samsung QN900D 8K QLED for $2,000. Am I making a mistake going with Samsung?
You can pay around 2k for a LG OLED C4 77' , that would be better IMHO

You just won $25k a month for 20 years, what are you doing with the money?
Costco hot dog then go get the LG 77” C4 OLED I’ve been eying up to replace my CX. Get a hot fudge Sunday on way out.

I paid over a grand for this years ago...
Not too bad actually, last summer you could buy a LG C4 Oled for 1,800 CAD$, that's for the 65 incher. Pretty freaking great if you ask me.

Current TV is damaged, looking for similar performing one
Try and look for a LG 42" C4 OLED. People have been finding them around 600-700 USD. Thats probably your best bet in this size and price range. https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/1m0ltup/new_lg_42_inch_c4/ https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-42-class-c4-series-oled-evo-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-20

How big is yours?
55” LG C4 OLED. It was expensive even on sale, but it’s truly an amazing TV!

Should I Wait for a Price Drop on 2025 TVs?
Past results do not guarantee future activity, but given that you can still find a C4 out in the wild for about $1000 CAD less than the 77” C5 (and that’s going to be 2 generations old in a month or so), I would think the same will hold true once the C6 is released. https://www.visions.ca/77-inch-lg
