Did i make a mistake buying the LG C5 instead of the S90F?
I have the 77 c5 and I think it's plenty bright enough. HDR content is the brightest. It's Dolby vision content that can be dark on lg oleds, so I just keep mine in cinema mode instead of filmmaker.

77" Samsung S90F?
RTINGS doesn’t really fully account for some of the stuff Sony is best at, most notably Motion handling, but that’s a lot more relevant for movies than games (OLEDs are really bad at 24p video). I own the 65” Sony XR8B which is basically a Bravia 8 and I love it, but I got a stellar deal on it about

best tvs 2026 what actually matters most for a dark room movie setup?
MiniLED has come a long way but if you’re watching in a dark room, there’s still nothing that beats an OLED. Same with HDR, miles better on OLED. Also like others have mentioned, miniLED blooming is much more evident in dark rooms. Long term is only an issue if you’re going to have the TV on all day

Is LG G5 worth the extra $1800 over C5?
Same discussion topic from a couple months ago for reference From RTINGS comparison: "The LG G5 OLED is better than the LG C5 OLED. The G5 is brighter in SDR and has superior reflection handling, making it more suitable for very bright rooms. The G5 has better HDR brightness and color volume, delive

3 things my plasma did better than my new lg C5
For 1 and 3 this could be issues with the picture settings. LG TVs TVs have different settings for SDR, HDR and Dolby Vison and the standard options are not generally the best. Rtings has some recommendations here https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c5-oled/settings For motion there are options to

I was sure i was getting the Samsung s90f 2nd best tv of the year. 1200€ But i was afraid of burn in and it being not bright enough during the day. LG C5 77” vs Samsung S90F 77”. Which is better?
For gaming, the S90F, for movies and gaming with DV, C5. VS The LG C5 OLED and the Samsung S90F OLED trade blows. They're about equally as bright in most HDR content, although the S90F is far brighter in Game Mode. In SDR, however, the C5 is way brighter. The S90F does handle direct reflections bett

Purchase recommendation: 65" TCL Q7C Mini-LED vs 55" LG OLED C5 for the same price??
I would get the TCL. I have the 55 inch version of the C7K and I'm extremely pleased with it. It cost half the money of what an equivalent size LG C5 would cost, the OS is Google TV and it's much better than LG's OS, gaming mode is absolutely fantastic, it supports every HDR and sound standardand th
