Is anyone else like autistically hyper aware of all the nasty shit modern TVs have enabled by default that's supposed to enhance the image but instead make it look DOGSHIT

My new LG C5 OLED has 10 BS A.I. and processing settings enabled on every input and every app. You cannot universally disable it (eventhough the settings have an "apply to all inputs" option). You must open every app, dig through the menus and manually disable each option for each input and each app

LG announces new OLED TVs at CES — brighter G6, the C6 splits in two, ultra-thin Wallpaper OLED, and the world's first 4K 120Hz cloud gaming TVs

"The LG C6H is only available in 77-inch and 83-inch models, and the crucial difference here is that it uses a Primary RGB Tandem panel – the same kind of panel used in the LG G5, which was LG's flagship from last year. This means it should be majorly brighter than the LG C5 was in those sizes – LG

Did i make a mistake buying the LG C5 instead of the S90F?

I have the 77 c5 and I think it's plenty bright enough. HDR content is the brightest. It's Dolby vision content that can be dark on lg oleds, so I just keep mine in cinema mode instead of filmmaker.

Need suggestions for a new OLED TV

Sorry to break it to you, but with today’s build quality, be happy if a TV even crosses the 7-year mark. OLEDs are especially susceptible to burn-in even the latest ones, and their brightness reduces over time with usage. If you want to get an OLED look for LG C5 or G5. Samsung doesn’t support Dolby

Another Milwaukee jumpscare in a TV review

If it's a genuine question: B4 is great value (If you can still get it--the 4 series is last year's models from LG, but they may still be making it unlike the C4), but I believe only 60hz whereas the LG C5 is the nicer version with higher refresh rate and a brighter panel. Both are OLED panels, so y

77" Samsung S90F?

RTINGS doesn’t really fully account for some of the stuff Sony is best at, most notably Motion handling, but that’s a lot more relevant for movies than games (OLEDs are really bad at 24p video). I own the 65” Sony XR8B which is basically a Bravia 8 and I love it, but I got a stellar deal on it about

Is LG G5 worth the extra $1800 over C5?

Same discussion topic from a couple months ago for reference From RTINGS comparison: "The LG G5 OLED is better than the LG C5 OLED. The G5 is brighter in SDR and has superior reflection handling, making it more suitable for very bright rooms. The G5 has better HDR brightness and color volume, delive

Sony Bravia 8 vs LG C5

On paper the C5 wins, hands down. The bravia 8 uses LG's older panel (same panel used in the LG B5, B4, B3..) instead of the OLED evo panel used in the C5. Obviously Sony makes up for it in pretty much every other department, but in terms of peak brightness and efficiency the LG wins by a strong mar

LG C5 vs TCL QM7K 65''

I have owned the C5 (77") and upgraded the living room to a 98" QM8k. It is definitely comparable to the C5 and rtings agrees. The LG C5 OLED and the TCL QM8K trade blows, and the best one really depends on your usage and personal preferences. Although the TCL has fantastic contrast, it's still not

What Monitor Or TV Are You Using?

I have the LG C5 65 inch OLED tv and it’s amazing on the games. The brightness and color stand out, games that have the capabilities of 60 or 120hz look great.
